Day 1 – Departure – May 24th
6:00 AM – Depart for Tokyo, Japan
Day 2 – Tokyo – May 25th
1:55 PM – Arrive in Tokyo, Japan
Airport Train Transfer & On-ground Briefing
Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc.
Tokyo Welcome Dinner (Watami) – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.
Day 3 – Kyoto – May 26th

Historical & Cultural Tour of Kyoto – Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion, Gion District, Traditional Kimono Show and more…
Lunch Break
Tea Ceremony – Kyoto was where the tea ceremony was born and remains its spiritual heart. This special ceremony provides an unforgettable opportunity to learn the Japanese art of tea!

Tokyo National Museum – This famous museum houses the largest collection of Japanese artifacts and artworks in the world. With over 100,000 pieces and room to display only 4,000, exhibits are rotated constantly.
Ueno Park & Asakusa Walking Tour
Senso-ji Shrine – experience the story of the oldest temple in Tokyo, and the people of Japan.
Day 7 – Mt. Fuji & Lake Ashi – May 30th

Travel to Hakone (approx. 1.5 hours)
Hakone National Park – Noted for its iconic panoramic scenes of Mt. Fuji, the highest peak in all of Japan, the Fujigoko Lakes lies at the foot of this mountain, and the Aokigahara Woodlands.
Lake Ashinoko Boat Tour – In the shadow of Mount Fuji, Lake Ashi, aka Lake Ashinoko, is a scenic spot in Hakone National Park. Considered sacred by the Japanese, it is home to the famous Hakone Shinto shrine.
Cable Car Ride to Mt. Komagatake
Return to Tokyo
Day 8 – Tokyo – May 31st
